We opened the doors to Nacey Painting Inc. in 1983 in Salt Lake City, UT. Several years later we expanded and opened an office in Las Vegas, NV. With over 40 years of experience we’ve established ourselves as a leading commercial painting contractor in the industry. Since then, we have painted numerous apartment complexes, warehouses, HOA’s, and buildings of all sorts and sizes in Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and surrounding states. We pride ourselves in quality and service, while always using top-shelf products. Our commitment to preparation is unparalleled, as the job is only as good as the preparation.
Our Amazing Leadership Team
Shaun Nacey, is the owner and founder of Nacey Painting Inc. He grew up in the Northeast corner of Wyoming in the Black Hills on a 3,800 acre cattle ranch, where he learned the value of honest hard work which he has carried over to his business practices. He and his wife Marla have raised six children in the Sandy, UT area. He started his business in 1983 after working for a local property management company. He has been in the painting industry for over 40 years. Shaun is a hands-on owner who takes pride in the quality of work that he and his team produce. He makes it a point to ensure each client is completely satisfied with their project, no matter how small or large it may be.
Jose Morales has been with Nacey Painting Inc. for 23 years. He is one of our lead journeyman painters over the Western states. He is a reliable and integral part of what makes our process successful. His attention to detail and eager attitude to get the job done and done right is unparalleled. Jose is a warm spirited family man, with his five daughters, one son, and lovely wife Margarita. His family is his pride and joy. He is a pleasure to have on the team. We are very grateful for his many years of dedication to our company and mission.
Abraham Gonzales is one of our lead journeyman painters over the Western states. He has been with Nacey Painting Inc. for 14 years in counting and many more to come. Whether the job is large, small, or anything in-between Abraham is ready to travel and tackle it at a moment’s notice. He has painted from Dallas to Oklahoma to Seattle and all points in between. He is a skilled painter and craftsman and we’re proud to have him on the team.
Lexi Amundsen started with Nacey Painting Inc. at the beginning of 2023 as our Operations Manager. She is local to the Sandy, UT area. She brings experience in business and marketing, graduating from Concordia University in Portland, OR. As a former collegiate basketball player, she values hard work and perseverance, both of which she applies in her personal and professional life. With a natural knack for the painting industry, she is dedicated to working hard for each and every client.
