Nacey Painting was founded by Shaun Nacey, whose vision and dedication established our strong reputation in the commercial painting industry since 1983. Today, under new ownership, we continue to uphold the same commitment to quality and excellence that Shaun instilled, and with over 40 years of experience, we’ve established ourselves as a leading commercial painting contractor in the industry. We pride ourselves on quality and service, while always using top shelf products. Our commitment to preparation is unparalleled, as the job is only as good as the preparation.
We focus on interior & exterior painting of all types of commercial properties, from warehouses, to shopping centers, to large office or multi-tenant buildings, to entire HOA communities. Meet The Owner
Dan Davis
As the new owner of Nacey Painting, Dan Davis is proud to carry forward Shaun Nacey’s legacy. Like Shaun, Dan’s family has deep roots in agriculture; his parents, raised on a cattle ranch and a rose farm, instilled in their twelve children (Dan being the eleventh) a strong work ethic. This shared foundation made the connection between Dan and Shaun immediately clear.
Dan spent 25 years in the corporate world, leading large projects and teams across diverse industries. Though different from construction, this experience reinforced the value of honest work and the importance of satisfied, returning customers.
Dan, his wife, and their two daughters call Sandy, Utah home. He is committed to growing Nacey Painting with the same unwavering values and dedication to quality that have defined the company for decades. Clients can trust Nacey Painting is in good hands, and the team looks forward to serving their commercial painting needs with the highest standards of professionalism and craftsmanship.

Shaun Nacey
Shaun Nacey founded Nacey Painting in 1983, establishing a business built on the values he learned growing up on a 3,800-acre cattle ranch in Wyoming’s Black Hills: honest hard work and unwavering dedication. His hands-on approach and commitment to client satisfaction were the cornerstones of the company for over 40 years.
Shaun, along with his wife Marla, raised their six children in the Sandy, Utah area. His legacy of meticulous craftsmanship and a relentless focus on delivering quality results continue to be an inspiration for Nacey Painting.
